MultiMusicInfo: Cydia Tweak To Get Song Info (Title, Artist) With Album Cover In Task Switcher

Here is yet another reason to jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 4 or iOS 4.0.1. With the multitasking capabilities of the latest iPhone OS, you can now get all information of a song playing in the media player, on your multitasking bar (also called task switcher tray). That is if you install MultiMusicInfo, a $1 Cydia tweak.

The official description is as follows:

MultiMusicInfo is the first tweak to show you all of the information of the song that’s playing on your music player right in the now playing bar. This includes the Artist name, the album that the song is on and even replaces the iPod icon with the album cover. Of course it also includes the song name which is all that is shown by apple’s default. Tapping the album cover will still behave like the iPod icon and take you to the iPod app. If there is no album cover, it will display the standard iPod icon.

MultiMusicInfo works with iPod tracks, requires multitasking enabled on your jailbroken iOS 4.0+. The application can be configured from the Settings app.
