Enable Private Browsing In Safari With Covert Cydia Tweak

Enable Private Browsing In Safari With Covert Cydia Tweak

A new Cydia tweak is now available to enable private browsing in Safari browser on iPhone and iPod Touch. With private browsing, your Safari browser will no longer remember your browsing history, including sites visited, cookies, URLs, etc.
Covert is from Chpwn, the same developer who earlier gave us Proswitcher, Infiniboard and Infinidock. It is available free of cost from the BigBoss repository in Cydia and works with iPhone or iPod Touch on iOS 4.0 or later.

Turn On Private Browsing In Safari Using Covert

1. Jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch on iOS 4.0 or later version.
2. Launch Cydia and search for ‘Covert’. Install the application.
3. Whenever you want to browse in private mode, tap on the ‘Tabs’ button in bottom right of your Mobile Safari browser. Then tap on ‘Private Browsing’ button in the bottom.
4. That’s it.  Your browser will no longer remember URL history, cookies, browsing sessions, passwords, etc.
Covert is available free of cost in the BigBoss repository of Cydia.
